While I Was Away.....

So as only my family and close friends know, I was at camp for 5 days....girls camp ! It was amazing, the last night we were there we had a testimony meeting as our devotionals and every girl was balling her head off! it was the most amazing experience I have ever had, we also did some challenge courses before that, we did this thing where we chose a partner and one of us was blind folded, we were in this circle that was roped in, we couldn't get out of the rope or else we would be "it" so the partner that wasn't blind folded stayed out of the circle and told us directions to stay in the circle, not hit the tree, and get some one or be out of the way of the person who was it.
as we were in the circle there was Satin telling us the opposite directions and trying to lead us away. I was confused at first and then I realized so I concentrated on my partners voice. It just helped me to grow my testimony.

I made a whole bunch of new friends that I already had, well one that I have been trying to get. there was also a time that we had a "locks of love" day that some girls and leaders went to our amphitheatre and cut at least 10 inches off of their hair for people with cancer and other things that made them lose their hair. there was also another challenge course where we were harnesed onto a swing sort of thing and some people pulled a rope that pulled us up to the top of a tree and we had to let go and we would swing so high.

The day before we did the challenge courses 5 of the girls in my cabin had to go home because they had fevers. it was sad. at least they came the next morning. another sad thing about the camp was that there were showers, I would prefer to be as stinky as possible camping than be smelling sweet for just one minute and then smell like a dead duck.
Those girls were like my family. we roasted smores and hot dogs, had taco salads, hawaiian haystacks, barbeque sandwiches, hogies....and more that I can't remember. some of the wards had groups of 55 and we were 15.
I am so blessed for the experience I had there.

Green beans

My mom used to tell me that when I was a baby she would just open a can of green beans and put it on the floor raw and I would eat it with my fat little fingers.
I had so much hair when I was a baby.It was like and afro. I love green beans, I love tomatoes, OH that reminds me, at school I was talking about tomatoes and potatoes and I made up a new word, topatoes!
